Student Employee Appreciation Week is only a few weeks away, and the Office of Human Resources has arranged a week full of celebrations for UHD’s student employees!

We have collaborated with over a dozen different departments to plan events, to coordinate a cross-departmental social media campaign, and to offer scholarships throughout the week, and we hope you will join us in showing your appreciation for UHD’s determined and dedicated student employees!

From attending our celebrations to planning your own, there are many ways you and your department can get involved during Student Employee Appreciation Week. We have included a preview of what we’re planning in this post, and we encourage you to plan your own special celebrations for the student employees who support your department(s)!

Appreciation Events

• Ice cream social featuring
• Collaborative event with the Main Career Center
• Collaborative event with Student Leadership and Involvement
• Signature event featuring eSports, vendors, music, and other celebrations

Other Appreciation Efforts

• $750 scholarship courtesy of the Office of Human Resources
• $500 scholarship courtesy of Ms. Kim Thomas, UHD VP for Administration and Finance
• Complimentary swag bag for all student employees
• Raffles/giveaways throughout the week
• Cross-departmental social media campaign
