The dependent eligibility audit begins today. Many employees received an email from “Dependent Verification Center” related to Dependent Verification Notification. This is a legitimate email and requires action. ERS announced that it would be conducting a dependent eligibility audit beginning in April of dependents added since 2011. Please do not ignore this email as failure to respond will result in the removal of your covered dependents from the group insurance. It’s important for employees to provide the requested documentation. Keep in mind that not everyone will be a part of this audit.
