Beginning Dec. 7, TexFlex participants will receive an email for each transaction requiring additional information in order to validate a debit card charge.
Participants should note:
- the email includes a direct link to the TexFlex website and the transaction that needs the participant’s attention,
- the email will not contain transaction information, and
- after participants log in to their TexFlex account, they will receive instructions on how to validate the transaction.
Employees who are enrolled in TexFlex should check their contact information in ERS OnLine and update it if necessary. WageWorks will use information on file with ERS to contact participants, either by email or mail if there is no email address on file.
Participants must provide appropriate documentation or their TexFlex debit cards could be suspended. Examples of appropriate documentation include a detailed receipt or “Explanation of Benefits.”.
