WRC offers staff, faculty, students stress relief April 3

April is Stress Awareness Month, but it is not enough to just be aware of stress. People must take action to manage their stress. That’s where UHD’s Writing and Reading Center comes in. Join WRC staff April 3 from 12-1:30 pm. and feel at ease and manage stress with a food, games and fun.

The event is open to stressed students, faculty and staff. Attendees can enjoy free pizza and cookies all while playing board games with members of the WRC staff.

Stress Awareness Month has been held every April, since 1992 to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic.

In pursuit of its dual mission, the UHD Writing & Reading Center facilitates UHD student, staff, and faculty efforts to read, write, think critically, and communicate, and provides student peer tutors of writing with a rich teaching and learning experience and ongoing professional development in writing center research, theory, and tutoring practice.
