As a HealthSelect of Texas or Consumer Directed HealthSelect plan participant, to better serve you, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) will begin managing your mental health benefits on September 1, 2020.
Currently, BCBSTX manages your medical benefits and Magellan Healthcare manages your mental health benefits.
This transition will not affect your benefits (any deductibles, copays and coinsurance still apply) or covered services for mental health and substance abuse.
With this change, you’ll have just one company to call for medical and mental health benefits questions and one website to visit to view your claims: just sign in to Blue Access for Members.
