UHD staff below manager level now have until close of business Friday, June 19 to participate in a study on leadership and employee emotions. The correlational study on authentic leadership is conducted by UHD adjunct lecturer Tolulope Rogers as part of her doctoral degree from Grand Canyon University.
Participants are asked to take a 20-minute survey about trust in leadership and employee emotions within an academic setting. Participation information and the link to the survey can be found in the Survey Recruitment Letter below.

I am a doctoral learner under the direction of Professor Jonathan Mulder in the College of Doctoral Studies at Grand Canyon University. My name is Tolulope Rogers. I am conducting a correlational study of authentic leadership style, trust in leadership, and employee emotions within the academic setting.
I am recruiting individuals that meet these criteria:
- Participants must be above age 18.
- Participant must be a non-faculty employee below the manager level, at a higher learning institution.
- Participant must be willing to answer demographic questions about age, gender, and years of experience.
You cannot be in this study if you:
- Are below age 18.
- Are faculty.
- Are a non-faculty employee at a manager or above level.
- Are unwilling to answer demographic questions about age, gender, and years of experience.
The activities for this research project will include:
- Survey ~20 minutes online from your computer or phone.
Your participation in this study is voluntary, and you may refuse to stop participating at any time. There is no compensation for responding to the survey nor is there any known risk.
All data in this study will be stored on a password-protected computer. An electronic back-up copy will be stored in a password-protected external hard drive.
