Monthly community fitness webinars offered through ERS

Join the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) Wellness Team along with other State of Texas employees for a 15-minute wellness break to talk about wellness topics and share your successes and challenges the first Tuesday of every month through December 7, 2021.

Each webinar will begin at 10 a.m. CT.

Topics include:
July 6: Cardio, steady state, HIIT, interval… What is the best type for you?
August 3: Get comfortable being uncomfortable
September 7: Overcoming poor posture
October 5: Body image struggles and comparing ourselves to others
November 2: Flexibility vs. mobility
December 7: Mindfulness mindset

About the Speakers:

Becky Gillespie, B.S., NASM, Onsite Wellness Coordinator, has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield for three years providing support, education and guidance for agencies and higher education institutions that receive benefits through ERS. She has over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness industry including; health and wellness program development, fitness and nutrition program management, health coaching, personal training, and group exercise.

Angie Lederer, B.S., NASM- CPT, BCS, FNS, SFS , Onsite Wellness Coordinator, has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield for two years providing support, education and guidance for agencies and higher education institutions that receive benefits through ERS. She has over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry including; health and wellness program development, fitness and nutrition program management, health coaching, personal training, and group exercise.
