Here are a few important reminders and resources to help you get the most from your prescription drug program.
On Jan. 1, Express Scripts became the new administrator of the HealthSelectSM Prescription Drug Program (PDP). Most participants will not need to take any action. In December, Express Scripts sent letters to participants whose medication was not covered by Express Scripts formulary, or if the retail pharmacy they were using was not in Express Scripts network. If you have any questions, contact Express Scripts member services toll-free at (800) 935-7189 (TTY: 711).

Plan website: If you haven’t already, to register for an account at www.HealthSelectRx.com to:
- see a digital ID card
- find pharmacies closer to your address
- refill or renew prescriptions
- view claims and balances
- set up home delivery of long-term medications
- order refills and more.
On the plan website, you can check out the “Resources? tab to see plan benefits and coverage information, the plan guide, Price a medication tool, check which pharmacies are in network using Find a Pharmacy tool, learn about Express Scripts Home Delivery and other helpful documents.
Express Scripts mobile app: Participants can download and use the Express Scripts® mobile app from the Apple® App Store or Google® Play and follow instructions to sync their account. They can use the app to track prescription history, compare medication prices, set up automatic refill reminders, and more.
ID cards: Express Scripts has sent welcome packets to all current plan participants. Discard the Optum Rx issued ID cards and to show the new card the first time they go to the pharmacy on or after Jan. 1. The packets contain two ID cards per household, both with the subscriber’s name, a mail order form and a plan guide with details of the prescription drug coverage along with Express Scripts’ contact information.

An important note about ID cards: Some participants will get the welcome packet again in January. This is because we identified that some cards had the Express Scripts website URL instead of the plan’s HealthSelectRx.com URL and maintenance fee amount was missing. Participants can still use the card to get medications. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please contact Express Scripts member services toll-free at (800) 935-7189 (TTY: 711).
Introduction to Express Scripts webinars for BCs and employees: Thank you for attending the informational Q&A webinars in December. We appreciate that these webinars had a high attendance and the opportunity to answer some very good questions.
