Recognized in some form since at least 1979, Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, also often called Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), celebrates the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of the many diverse and distinct Asian and Pacific Islander communities within the United States.

UHD employees have front-row seats to many of Houston’s Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month celebrations, including art exhibits, musical performances, museum events, restaurant weeks, and more! Check out some of the events happening near Downtown Houston:
