HealthSelect participants will get a new medical ID card in the mail in November.  The new medical ID card will have more information on the back.  Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTV) has added more information for participants on the card.  Please check the back of the card to see the annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum amounts.

Out-of-pocket maximums reset every January 1. This amount is the most you will pay for in-network medical care in a calendar year.

There is no deductible for the HealthSelect of Texas plan when you use in-network providers. The Consumer Directed HealthSelect plan includes both in- and out-of-network deductibles.

HealthSelect participants can download the BCBSTX App to access their digital medical ID card from anywhere and save it to digital wallet. To download, participants should text BCBSTXAPP to 33633.
