Flu season is just around the corner and there’s no better time to get your flu shot. However, you don’t need to make a special trip to your doctor or local clinic this year. The flu shot is coming to you.

Just stop by the UHD Special Events Center (A-300) between 10 a.m. and noon on Thursday, September 25 to take advantage of a one-day flu shot clinic at UHD.

Through a collaboration with UnitedHealthcare and Walgreens, flu immunizations are available at NO COST to benefits-eligible employees who are HealthSelect participants.

Flu shots are available on a first come, first served basis. In order to ensure enough supplies are brought, please register here.

In addition to registering online, make sure to:

1. Print AND fill out a completed Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) Consent.
2. Bring the completed Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) Consent form AND your UnitedHealthcare HealthSelect insurance card with you on September 25.

Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease that spreads around the United States every winter, usually between October and May. Protect yourself by getting your vaccination early!
