Information Technology is pleased to announce that Microsoft Office 365 is now available to UHD faculty and staff. Office 365 is a web-based service by Microsoft that provides Office Web Apps and much more.
Following is a list of the main features:
- Office Web Apps. Internet-based version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint so you can view, create and edit files via a web browser.
- Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus. Allows you to download, install and run Office applications on up to 5 personal devices including PC, Mac, and mobile devices. This is for your own devices and not for use on University-owned PCs.
- Mobile Apps. Access, edit, and view Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents on mobile devices.
- OneDrive for Business. 1 TB of cloud file storage – this will replace your existing network drive H. Please copy any folders/files needed from your current H drive to the new OneDrive for Business no later than March 30, 2019. Please visit http://www.uhd.edu/O365 for detailed instructions on how to copy folders/files from your H drive to OneDrive for business.
IMPORTANT: When you login to your O365 account, use your full email address as your username (example: firstname.lastname@example.org) and your UHD network password.
