Registering for Fall 2023 Classes? Apply for the College Release Program!

It’s that time of year again, Gators! If you have enrolled in/plan to enroll in classes for Fall 2023, consider applying for the College Release and/or Staff Education Reimbursement Programs!

The College Release Program (CRP) is an educational benefit for full-time, benefits-eligible staff that have completed their initial probationary period. Eligible staff may receive up to three (3) hours per week of release time from normal duties to take credit-bearing courses toward a degree plan at an institution of higher learning.

The Staff Education Reimbursement Program is a reimbursement benefit for full-time, benefits-eligible staff that have completed their initial probationary period. This program reimburses partial tuition and course-related fees to eligible full-time, benefits-eligible staff attending credit-bearing classes through an accredited institution of higher learning in the regular semesters (fall or spring) leading to a degree or course applicable to their job. This program is available on a first come, first served basis, and is dependent on funding.

Interested staff members should consult PS 02.B.12, the Staff Training And Development Policy, to learn more about the CRP and Staff Education Reimbursement. The CRP and Staff Education Reimbursement process guide is also available for interested staff members to review.

Please contact the Payroll Team if you have any questions about the College Release and/or Staff Education Reimbursement Programs.
