As ERS concludes the 2014 dependent eligibility audit, we’ve begin our ongoing dependent verification.
The ongoing verification applies to anyone who adds a new dependent to health coverage (including during Annual Enrollment).
If you enrolled a new dependent during Annual Enrollment 2014 or if you enroll a new dependent at any time in the future, and your dependent was not verified as eligible in a previous dependent eligibility audit, you’ll need to provide proof of your dependent’s eligibility for coverage to Aon Hewitt.
Aon Hewitt worked with ERS to conduct the last two dependent eligibility audits, and is conducting the ongoing dependent verification.
It’s important to closely follow the requirements of the verification because unverified dependents will lose all GBP coverage, including health, dental, and dependent life.
