In 2006, Congress established the third week in October as “National Save for Retirement Week”. The goal was to increase personal financial literacy and to raise public awareness of the retirement-savings vehicles available to all workers. In recognition of “National Save for Retirement Week”, two valuable and timely trainings will be offered to faculty and staff.
