Due to the uncertainty surrounding the hiring of fall 2020 student assistants, the Jobs for Gators Virtual Fair is postponed and will now take place on Thursday, August 6.
UHD departments and offices searching for student employees this fall are invited to attend the rescheduled event August 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
The fair, hosted by the Career Development Center and UHD Sports & Fitness, is designed to bring students eligible for Federal Work Study; Texas Work Study and part-time, non-college work study assistants together with UHD offices and departments hiring this fall.
Attendees have the opportunity to talk to multiple candidates and complete all of their hiring within hours. Last year 200+ students attended the inaugural event and although the format is different this year, it’s still an excellent opportunity to meet, interview, and potentially hire student assistants.
To register for the fair, complete the following:
- Sign up and post available job(s)
- Create contact profile
- Request an information session.
Every department will have a designated Zoom virtual room. Registration deadline is July 27.
